Prezent Perfect vs. Trecutul Simplu: Cum le deosebești fără bătăi de cap?
Dacă te-ai încurcat vreodată între Present Perfect și Past Simple, nu ești singur. E dilema clasică a oricărui român care învață engleza. Diferența e însă mai simplă decât pare dacă o privești așa: contează când s-a întâmplat sau ce s-a întâmplat?
1. Trecutul Simplu (Past Simple): Momentul e „regele”
Folosim Trecutul Simplu atunci când știm exact când a avut loc acțiunea. Este o acțiune terminată, închisă într-o „cutie” a trecutului care nu mai are nicio legătură cu prezentul tău.
Cuvinte: yesterday, last week, in 1995, two hours ago.
Exemplu: I ate an apple yesterday. (Am mâncat un măr ieri. Punct. S-a dus, s-a digerat, știm când s-a întâmplat).
2. Prezentul Perfect (Present Perfect): Rezultatul e „vedeta”
Aici lucrurile devin interesante. Folosim Prezentul Perfect când nu ne interesează când s-a întâmplat ceva, ci contează faptul că s-a întâmplat și că are un impact acum, în prezent.
Regulă de aur: Acțiunea e ori nespecificată în timp, ori continuă să fie relevantă pentru tine în acest moment.
Exemplu: I have eaten an apple. (Am mâncat un măr. Nu contează când, dar ideea e că acum nu mi-e foame).
Cum spui in Engleza: ”Am hotarat sa-mi schimb obiceiurile.”
