Prepozitii de timp At, In , On – Cand si cum le folosim?

Ce sunt prepozitiile de timp? Cand si cum folosim prepozitiile de timp – at, in, on? In acest articol, poti vedea cele mai importante situatii si cazuri cand folosim prepozitiile at, in, on cu exemple si chiar exercitii.

Prepozitiile sunt foarte importante pentru a modifica sensul propozitiilor. Sunt cuvinte scurte, folosite inainte substantivelor sau pronumelor. Ele fac legatura intre pronume sau substantive si restul propozitiilor din care fac parte.
ex. I get up early in the morning.


Prepozitiile de timp ne spun cand ceva se intampla. Stim cand are loc un eveniment, datorita prepozitiilor de timp.

  • I like to relax in the evening.

Cand le folosim?

Folosim prepozitiile de timp cand vorbim despre o perioada de timp, data, zile ale saptamanii, luni, ani, anotimpuri sau cand are loc un eveniment.

Ca forma prepozitiile de timp: at, in, on, au aceeasi forma ca si prepozitiile de loc insa aceastea din urma sunt folosite diferit.

Este usor sa faci diferenta intre prepozitiile de timp si prepozitiile de loc. Primele arata momentul cand are loc evenimentul sau se intampla ceva. Prepozitiile de loc arata unde are loc evenimentul sau se intampla ceva.

Prepozitiile de timp – Reguli de folosire

In general, putem spune, ca exista niste reguli dupa care ne dam seama care dintre cele trei prepozitii trebuie sa le folosim.
Alteori, par sa nu urmeze neaparat o anumita regula. Trebuie sa le invatam asa cum sunt.

Putem intalni si situatii care nu par sa aiba o anumita logica. De ce folosim at si nu on sau invers cand exprima timpul?

Cum invatam sa folosim corect prepozitiile de timp?

Cea mai buna modalitate de a invata prepozitiile de timp in Engleza, este prin exercitiu. Cu alte cuvinte, trebuie sa le folosesti in exercitii, in conversatie si in scris.

Poti citi despre ele dar le poti retine doar folosindu-le. Iti recomandam cateva metode practice pentru a le invata mai usor, mai tarziu.

Prepozitiile de timp – Cand folosim prepozitia de timp – At?

At – se foloseste cand vorbim despre momentele zilei, sarbatori si alte perioade de timp.

Citeste si:  Substantivele numarabile si nenumarabile
 At – arata ora, momentul zilei.
  • at 8 (o’clock), at 9 p.m. -la ora 8, la ora 9 seara
    at midday, at noon – la mijlocul zilei, la pranz, la amiaza
    at midnight – la miezul noptii

Exemplu:

  • What time does the train leave? It leaves at 6 pm.
  • La ce ora pleaca trenul? Pleaca la 6 seara.

Momente ale zilei, sau ale unor perioade de timp:

  • He asked me an interesting question at the beginning of the class.
  • At the end of the evening, we went out for a drink.
Prepozitiile de timp – Zile de sarbatori si festivaluri

Putem exprima perioade de sarbatori: ( Ne referim la intreaga perioada de sarbatori)

  • We saw them at Christmas. (cateva zile de Craciun).
  • We are going to Greece at Easter. (intreaga perioada de paste)
Perioade si momente in timp:
  • at the weekend – in weekend ( cand ne referim la tot weekendul. Avem si ”on the weekend, on weekends” )
  • at the time- in acel moment
  • at the same time – in acelasi timp

Exemplu:

  • They are going to play football at the weekend.
  • What did you do at the weekend?
  • We were on the beach at sunrise.
Momente in timp, in general
  • Paris is very beautiful at night
  • It gets really cold at night.

In – Ce exprima ”In” si cand folosim aceasta prepozitie de timp?

Folosim prepozitia ”In” cand vrem sa ne referim la: luni – months, anotimpuri – seasons, ani – years, secole – centuries,

Arata momentul zilei,
  • in the day – in timpul zilei ( a nu se confunda cu -during the day)

Exemplu:

  • I will put this sandwich aside and eat it later in the day. ( arata momentul in timpul zilei)
  • They ate three sandwiches during the day. ( arata perioada de timp)
  • in the morning – dimineata ( I’ll call her first thing in the morning.)
  • in the afternoon.  We usually meet in the afternoon.
  • in the evening. I’ll have a meeting in the evening.
  • in the night – She woke up in the night. ( Ne referim la o anumita noapte.)

Prepozitiile de timp – Momente in trecut

Exprima momente sau perioade, in timp, in trecut:

  • in the past – in trecut. That was in the past. Things have changed now.
  • In the last two years – in ultimii 2 ani
  • This is the first time I’ve seen him in 2 years.
  • In years – de ani buni. I haven’t seen him in years.
Momente in viitor:
  • in the future. They will discover time travel in the future.
  • in a minute. I’ll be there in a minute.
  • in three weeks’ time
  • in three weeks. I’ll have a new car in three weeks.
Prepozitiile de timp – In – cu lunile anului:

Ianuary, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December

  • My birthday is in March. (months)
Cu anotimpurile anului
  • Some birds migrate in spring. (seasons) spring, summer, autum, winter.
    I go skiing in the winter.
    I took this photo in the summer of 2018.

Prepozitia On

Prepozitia de timp On, nu are o atraducere similara cu cea a prepozitiei de loc. Poate fi tradusa in limba romana prin: ”in” sau ”la”.

  • On such an occasion- intr-o asemenea ocazie
  • On the 1st of May – la 1 mai

On – se foloseste cu numele zilelor saptamanii, zile de sarbatori luate individual, date calendaristice (includ ziua)

Prepozitiile de timp – Zilele saptamanii:
  • on Sunday,- I’ll meet you on Sunday. Ne intalnim duminica. (Ne referim la Duminica urmatoare, care vine.)
  • on Sundays – The shop is closed on Sundays. Magazinul este inchis duminica. (Toate duminicile, in general)
  • on Friday – The bank is closed on Friday.
  • on Friday night – We’re going out on Friday night.
  • on Saturday morning – They’ll be there on Saturday morning.

  • on Good Friday
  • on my birthday – We had a lot of fun and ate a lot of cake, on my birthday.
  • on my wedding day
Sarbatori (zile de sarbatori)
  • on Christmas day – They went to church on Christmas day.
  • On Easter Sunday – My sister and I ate a lot of chocolate on Easter Sunday. ( O anumita zi de Pasti – Duminica de pasti.)
  • on New Year’s Day.

Diferenta dintre In si On

Este diferenta de sens intre on time si in time, desi, traducerea poate fi similara in limba romana.

  • in time – early enough, not late, devreme, . I am in time. Am ajuns destul de devreme.
  • on time – punctually; according to the schedule. La timp. I’m on time. Am ajuns la timp. Nu am intarziat.
